I see the wild turkeys almost every day, but they are almost always too far away to photograph (I don't have a telephoto lenses just a zoom). After yesterdays big dump of 25 cm of snow I didn't expect to see them far from the trees...but there were several grouping of them out in the corn field -I counted 13 in total. These were the closest so I took a few pictures -they have been close to the house before, early, early in the morning but they have very keen eyesight and incredible hearing so I've never been able to sneak up on them at all to photograph them. So, I consider this ....good enough for now....shopping for that telephoto lenses.....saving the dollars......soon....I have a very bad cold so need to go lie down...........
